Wisdom From the Shaykh of Shaykhs - Group 9
97. Do not
curse the wind, for it derives from the Breath of the All-Merciful.
98.) Be
careful concerning the vision of a mo'min (believer), because such a person sees by the
Light of Allah.
99.) For
everything there is a zakat. The zakat of the body is obedience.
100.) The
first thing which God Almighty created was my spirit.
101.)
There is no power and no strength save in God, the All-high, the Tremendous.
102.) God
has seventy thousand veils of light and darkness; were they to be removed, the Glories of
God's Face would burn away everything perceived by the sight of God's creatures.
103.) On
the Day of Resurrection God will say: "O child of Adam, I was hungry, but you did not
feed Me; I was thirsty, but you did not give Me drink; and, I was ill, but you did not
visit Me."
104.)
Every child is born according to primordial nature (fitra); then his parents make
that child a Jew, a Christian, or a Zoroastrian.
105.) All
of the Revealed Books are contained in the Qur'an. And, the meaning of the Qur'an is
contained within surrah Al- Fatihah. And, the meaning of surrah al- Fatihah is contained
in Bismillah ir Rahman ir Raheem, and the meaning of Bismillah ir Rahman
ir Raheem is contained in Bismillah, and the meaning of Bismillah is contained in
the dot beneath bey (b).
106.) The
learned masters are the inheritors of the Prophets.
107.)
There are hidden gems of knowledge unknown to all but those who know God; if they are
spoken of, none denies them except those arrogant toward God.
108.) The
person who exalteth oneself is humbled by Allah, while the person who humbleth oneself is
exalted by God.
109.) The
shaykh among the following of such a shaykh is like a Prophet among the people of that
Prophet.
