Sufi Compassion - The Path of Infinite Grace

Aims and Objects

(1) to make various aspects of the Sufi spiritual sciences and moral teachings accessible to the general public in the Western hemisphere;

(2) to develop written, aural and video material which will help explain and illustrate Sufi methods, values, beliefs, practices, principles and history;

(3) to establish educational programs that give expression to the Sufi perspective with respect to issues in psychology, philosophy, religion and social affairs;

(4) to provide counseling services for those who wish to seek assistance in resolving personal problems through Sufi modes of analysis and treatment;

(5) to work toward engendering peace, harmony, and cooperation within communities and families throughout the Western hemisphere;

(6) to plan, and implement, training programs which are intended to enhance opportunities for personal spiritual growth and self-realization;

(7) to offer consultative expertise in Sufi problem-solving methodology for various organizational settings, ranging from education to business;

(8) to contribute effort, skills, time, talent and other resources to help alleviate human suffering in the Western hemisphere;

(9) to work toward stopping the degradation of the environment;

(10) to help educate people about various dangers with respect to the issue of spiritual charlatans;

(11) to organize lectures, symposia, seminars and panel discussions on various Sufi themes and topics;

(12) to create opportunities for an exchange of views, concerns and interests among different spiritual traditions which may form a basis for various co-operative ventures;

(13) to supply speakers for schools, groups and organizations that desire information in Sufi mystical sciences

(14) to minister to the needs of the needy;

(15) to translate, publish and distribute classical works on Sufi teachings;

(15) to generate original Sufi poetry and music;

(17) to construct a network of resources which are capable of helping to address various social problems in a positive, constructive fashion.
