(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) The fact is, we read and understand what we are programmed to BELIEVE, regardless of what we are actually reading.
[Comment - Not all of this programming comes from outside. We program ourselves - to whatever extent we do - as a function, in part, of our hermeneutical engagement of the way other people interact with us. If we permit other people to program us, it is because we stand to gain some pay-off as compensation - that is, we CHOOSE to open ourselves up to being programmed, in various ways and to varying degrees.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) The mind is not material, yet it has an interface system with the body, and this is the neurochemical network. The mind of the body is the Predator's mind, connected to "strings" like a marionette, with the strings in the hands of the 4th density Puppet Masters.
[Comment - The Predator's mind is the activity and potential given expression through the nafs-i-amarra (An inherent potential for rebellion against the Truth which is attached to the soul.). These strings do not necessarily control us like a marionette unless we permit ourselves to be completely dominated by nafs or the carnal soul and, thereby, give up our proxy votes to such STS beings and let them vote our shares in life for whatever program or agenda they please. The nafs cannot necessarily be reduced to the body, but the nafs is vulnerable to the way in which the body processes experiences - that is, with respect to the manner in which the body gives rise to sensory delights, pleasure, and the like.
We are own worst enemies. However, to varying degrees, STS beings, of whatever dimension or realm, have the capacity to influence, shape, color and orient the hermeneutical process even if they don't necessarily totally control human beings to the extent Laura appears to believe.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) I'm sure that most readers have heard of some of the amazing feats of yogis of the East who have achieved control over not only their conscious minds, but also over what are considered to be solely autonomic systems of the body. Various disciplines are used, and we have already talked about the Way of the Yogi, the Fakir and the Monk, so we know the basic principles involved. And, we are going to take this principle and apply it in a new way here.
[Comment - At least one important question to raise here is this: what is the nature of the intention through which one has sought to achieve control over not only one's conscious mind but also over what are considered to be solely autonomic systems of the body? The main issue is not about control but whether, or not, such control reflects and gives full expression (according to capacity) to the Truth with respect to, among other things, one's essential identity and unique spiritual capacity and, in, God willing, so doing, serving the Divine Himma or aspiration through which, and for which, creation came into being.
One can gain control of different dimensions of the self for purely STS reasons and intentions. Many people undergo incredible hardships to achieve mastery in such things as athletics, music, scholarship, art, and so on but such mastery is often intended to do service to the self rather than service to the Self.
A person may gain mastery over one's emotions and moods and, yet, still remain quite distant from gaining mastery over one's intentions or the choices which arise out of those intentions. A person may choose, and, yet, not be free in the choices one makes because one's intentions are rooted in something other than STT (Service to Truth) and STO (Service to Others. If knowledge protects, then, perhaps, it is best to be sure that one is gaining the right kind of knowledge - and mastery of anything, in and of itself, is not the test of what constitutes the right kind of knowledge.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) Taking just one example of what yogis and fakirs can do, i.e. consciously control pain, let's look at what might be happening.
In the brain, there is an area called the periaqueductal gray, located around the aqueduct between the third and fourth ventricles of the midbrain. It is filled with opiate receptors, making it a control area for pain perception. It is also loaded with receptors for virtually all the neuropeptides that have been studied.
What seems to happen when yogis and fakirs learn to control their perception of pain is that they are able to gain access to this area of the brain with conscious intent and to RESET the pain threshold. That is to say: reframed by conscious expectations and subconscious beliefs, pain can be abolished by being interpreted as either a neutral experience or even pleasure.
And this is our Ace in the hole. We can make ourselves unavailable as food; we can change our systemic responses so that the Matrix "unplugs us" and dumps us out of the system just like Neo was unceremoniously plucked from his pod when he "woke up."
But, more importantly: we can train ourselves to NOT BLINK. With knowledge and awareness of what IS, and what might be, we can never be confronted with a situation, either in the body or out, that will cause us to fall into a negative state.
It seems, from all the studies that are done, that an elevated mood - one of happy expectation of the possibility of adventure - is the greatest protection against illness. Perhaps it is also the one that makes one "inedible" to the Matrix?
[Comment - There is an assumption in the foregoing about what it is that will make us 'inedible' to the Matrix or to the Consortium or to the Lizzies or to whatever it that one is concerned about eating us. However, just as desiring Heaven is the wrong motivation for seeking the Truth and doing service to others since the intention corrupts one's actions, so, too, the desire to become inedible gives expression to a motivation which is intended to save one's own skin at the possible risk of losing one's soul - and as the Cassiopaeans, and others, have indicated ... the soul is what matters.
If one sincerely seeks to do STT and STO, then, why not suppose that this is the best one can do under any and all circumstances. One has little, or no, control over when, or how, one is going to die, and, as such, death eats us all.
One has control over very little in this life, but the one vital area where one does have some say in what happens is with intention and the intentions which are chosen to engage life and Being. The leads to a question and challenge: what does it mean to sincerely seek STT and STO.
While all of us should exercise caution and prudence with respect to taking steps to preserve life, the caution and prudence exercised should be balanced and in harmony with the purpose of life and Creation. However, achieving such balance is very difficult unless one gains insight into the actual truth about who we are, in essence, and why we find ourselves on Earth, and what it is that will make best use of our time while here.
Human beings have come up with all manner of answers for the foregoing issues. The best one can do is a function, in part (but a very important part), of our sincerity with respect to seeking to realize and live in accordance with the truth about Being - and, then, letting the chips fall where they may because we cannot control where those chips fall or how they will fall or when or why. All we can do is be prepared as best we can, and the gateway to such preparation is through sincerity with seeking the truth.
If one wins the battle by becoming inedible with respect to that which intends to harm us (whatever one's theory on this may be), and, yet, one loses the war because the intentions that have motivated our choices to become inedible have corrupted the sincerity of our search for Truth, then, what purpose does staying inedible serve except to keep us asleep in, yet, another way? Perhaps, one should be more concerned about what one is feeding one's own soul and less concerned about what might be 'out there' seeking to eat our beings.
Irrespective of whether there is, or is not, some 4th density STS techno-wizard, time-traveling predator who has ill-will toward humankind, the fact of the matter is there is something within each of us right now which is stalking us and seeking to enslave us to serve its purposes and agenda - and that entity or denizen is the ego or carnal soul or nafs or whatever other term one cares to use for the forces which seek to rebel against Truth and serving the Truth. We need to protect ourselves from the monsters within - for we have met the enemy and the enemy is us - the Lizzies or satanic forces merely exploit and make use of the enemy which lives within us and keeps us asleep by manipulating us to serve it rather than Truth ... and through Truth, Others.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) In 1990, Howard Hall demonstrated that the immune system could be controlled. He instructed his subjects in cyber-physiologic strategies. The word cyber comes from the Greek "kybernetes," (kubernetes) which means "to steer" or The Navigator. It is interesting that one of the names for the goddess Isis is "The Navigator." And the process of "unveiling Isis" is that of acquiring knowledge.
Another study showed that cancer patients who failed to release their anger had slower recovery rates. Another trait common to cancer victims was self-denial; this amounts to unawareness of their own, basic, emotional needs.
It seems that emotions that are generated and/or suppressed due to lack of knowledge can be deadly. Since emotional expression is always tied to a specific flow of peptides in the body, the constant generation and suppression of emotions results in massive disturbances of the psychosomatic network. Many psychologists have said that depression is really suppressed anger or even anger redirected against the self.
Identifying, releasing and expressing emotion that has been suppressed is a significant step in the direction of taking charge of your ship and learning to navigate it. But, at the same time, it is essential to learn to transform emotions. We can learn to only have positive emotions!
[Comment - There are many people who are satisfied and content - who enjoy many aspects of their live and, thereby, find pleasure in music, friendships, career, family, nature, sports, books, learning, and so on. There lives are filled with positive emotions, but their lives are not necessarily committed to either STT or STO
One doesn't have to be a spiritual person, or dedicated to STT or STO to enjoy life. One might even suppose that the Lizzies or Satan are very upbeat about what they do, and, perhaps, as a result, their immune systems are functioning with maximum effectiveness.
Unless positive emotions are tied to a sincere Service To Truth or Service To Others, they tend to become part of an addictive feedback system which keeps a human being asleep to the real possibilities of Being. Maintaining equilibrium in the face of adversity, learning how to struggle with difficulty, understanding that one often grows more on the anvil of the dark night of the soul than one does through ease, enjoying life for the way it gives multi-faceted, complex - sometimes apparently conflicting - expression to Truth and the Self rather than as being a means to the end of a provided of happiness, pleasure and joy for the self ... positive emotions are not enough - context, meaning, intention, understanding, and purpose matter.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) It is in this sense that the Cassiopaeans teach us that knowledge protects. To have a full field of awareness is to be in control of your ship no matter what may erupt into your life. Information is the bridge between consciousness and matter and without this bridge, matter and its programs - the Predator's Mind - will dominate. The "bodymind" of the Predator is like the whirlpool of Charybdis and the temptation of the Sirens of ancient myth put together. Liky Ulysses, we must lash ourselves to the mast of our ship, stuff the ears of our rowers with wax, and call upon knowledge/nymphs to help guide us through the dangers.
[Comment - The issue: what it means to "have a full field of awareness" and to "be in control of your ship", often means different things to different people. Consequently, even if one accepts the idea that "information is the bridge between consciousness and matter and without this bridge, matter and its programs - the Predator's Mind - will dominate", there remains the question of: will just any sort of information do? Will just any kind of knowledge do?
Is wisdom a function of all manner of information and knowledge, or does wisdom allude to only certain kinds and quality of information and knowledge? And, if the latter, what is the identity of such information and knowledge? Precisely what knowledge/nymphs should one call on? And, is it possible that there are greater dangers than even the Cassiopaeans are seeking to warn us about - such as the Cassiopaeans themselves?
Why should we accept the Cassiopaean hermeneutic of things even if on lower-level issues their clues prove to be instructive? At the very heart of counter-intelligence is a strategy to induce the target of an operation to accept certain information and knowledge (or intelligence) as reliable, when it is not, and the way this is done is position the tainted material in a well-constructed network of other kinds of information and knowledge which is verifiable and reliable. Sorting out the true from the false is a difficult process.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) Information transcends time and space.
[Comment - Truth transcends time and space. Information has only as much value as it gives expression, or accurately reflects, some dimension of Truth.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) It is, as Gregory Bateson has said, "the difference that makes a difference." Consciousness exists "prior" to the physical realm which is, literally, an out-picturing of consciousness. Denying the realities of the "real world" - denying the reality of the naturalness of the existence of "darkness," is the same as being manipulated to have negative emotions while, at the same time being taught to suppress them. It will still exist; and it will "back up" in your system and become the chief part of your reality because, like blocked emotions, it cannot be "released" so that positive emotions can take its place.
[Comment - One can agree that one must not run away from the realities of the world, and that one needs to acknowledge the existence of the evil intentions which are at work in certain segments of the universe (including from within ourselves), and that to deny the presence of such darkness is equivalent to rendering oneself susceptible to being manipulated and exploited by these forces. However, what the realities of the world really are - as opposed to what we hypothesize them to be, and what the game, agenda, or purpose of evil is, as well as what steps to take in order to defend oneself against darkness (whether from without or within), and what kinds of positive emotion should one strive for, and why, and how - these are all matters which are not necessarily straightforward and require considerable critical exploration, reflection, and discussion.
One must actively pursue answers, but one cannot act in haste. One must understand that each step one takes is critical, and if wrong or incorrect, can lead to problematic consequences which, at the time of taking a given step, may not be at all apparent. And, yet, one cannot freeze-up through panic, or fear, or anxiety in relation to the realization of just how critical are the issues surrounding our modalities of choosing which of our intentions should be used to forge the path ahead.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) With increase of information the Navigator steers the ship by constantly adjusting the tiller in response to the information. Constant feedback is required for the Navigator to do the job and that is why, along with knowledge in terms of facts and understanding must be combined with self-monitoring so as to have a more intelligent grasp of what is happening in the physical system and in its relation to the reality that the individual experiences. The faster and tighter the feedback loop, the more intelligence is available to the system.
[Comment - The devil and the Divine are both in the details of how one steers the ship as a function of the information which is selected to use in order to make adjustments to the tiller that controls the direction of one's journey through life. Quickness and tightness of the feedback loop does not guarantee intelligent steering because the information on which navigational activity is based may be problematic in some manner.
Moreover, even if one assumes that the information on which navigation is based is accurate or gives reflective expression to Truth, there is no guarantee that one will use such information in a constructive or advantageous way with respect to enabling us, God willing, to sail nearer to Truth and service to others. The methodology underlying one's process of self-monitoring affects how we process information, and the most imprisoned of individuals are those who suppose their process of self-monitoring has set themselves free from malevolent jailers while these prisoners remain shackled by intentions, purposes, understandings, values, and beliefs that have become invisible to them because the monitoring system being used has been calibrated in such a way that those shackles never show up on our detector screens and, thereby, set off warning bells.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) The body itself is a metaphor of our unconscious state. As more of it becomes conscious, there are fewer and fewer "unexpected" elements cropping up in our lives.
[Comment - As a metaphor, the foregoing references to the body need to have a more general application to realities beyond the body. The life of the body often indicates there is much of which our 'normal waking awareness' is unaware, and, therefore, the real seat of unconsciousness is our 'normal waking consciousness' which tends to be oblivious to the rest of our being even though the rest of our being is quite aware of what is, and is not, going on within 'normal waking consciousness'.
However, there also are many levels of being beyond the body about which our 'normal waking consciousness' is unaware - in fact, rendering the body more transparent to consciousness is but a small fraction of the Infinite to which 'normal waking consciousness' must be opened up. And, it is in this context of the Infinite that there will always be 'unexpected' elements cropping up in our lives - and these are unavoidable - indeed, it is even said of those who have attained unity with the One that the constant unveilings are so unanticipated that one is in a constant state of bewilderment as one's awareness gives expression to both the known and that which is not understood about what is known.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) The body is a battlefield for the wargames of the mind. And these games are, very likely, planned and executed from higher densities.
[Comment - The heart is the battlefield for the wargames of being. On one side are the forces of darkness seeking to seduce the allegiances of the heart, and on the other side are the forces of spirit which seek to awaken the heart in time to sincerely commit itself to Truth, rather than falsehood. The properly calibrated and balanced mind is just one of the tools to be employed by the spirit in the service of Truth and service to Others.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) Knowledge Protects.
[Comment - Not every kind of knowledge protects. There is sacred knowledge and profane knowledge.
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) But, I say again: we are made addicts inside our own skins.
And, what's more, we are addicted to our emotions.
Curiously, the ones who resist that idea most strenuously are very much like an alcoholic who vigorously and vehemently declares that he is NOT an alcoholic.
[Comment - We also are often addicted to our: ideas, beliefs, understandings, values, identities, methods, creativity, purposes, theories, pleasures, politics, status, self-images, religions, and a host of other idols.]
(From Laura Knight-Jadczyk) By having such a "pleasure system" in our bodies, we have a built in reward system by which we can be manipulated to pursue any number of activities that may or may not be good for us; mostly based on - you guessed it - early imprinting. And, we are generally unaware of it; we simply engage in certain behaviors because it "feels good" and we want to do them "again." We were rewarded for them as infants and small children, and we constantly seek that "programmed behavior" in order to receive the reward. Never mind that our early programming may have been for behaviors that completely block the true expression of our "essence," or that they are based on "fairy tales" or unrealistic perceptions of life.
[Comment - Without wishing, in any way, to deny that early childhood experiences have a tremendous shaping impact on what transpires in later life, and without wishing to deny that we, as individuals, choose to lay down certain kinds of programs early in life that may come to dominate much of how we hermeneutically engage experience later in our lives (even though we may have lost contact with the choices, intentions and decisions which led to such programs or circuitry becoming established, and as a result 'normal waking consciousness' has become unconscious toward them), nevertheless, all the way through life we are accompanied by a capacity to choose which is inherent in our potential as human beings.
Every time one of our programs or circuits is triggered, behavior ensues. This behavior is responded to, in varying ways, by not only others, but ourselves.
Such programs and circuitry give expression to coping strategies which may, or may not, have had adaptive value at the time they were established. In time, however, whenever such programs are triggered, they often tend to have a maladaptive impact on our lives in the sense that either others are not happy with the way we are behaving or we, ourselves, are not happy with the manner in which we are behaving or how this behavior has negative consequences for our emotional, mental, social, and/or spiritual well-being.
Until we come to the realization that it is not others who forced those programs/circuits upon us but we who, through our choices, settled on a certain way of interpreting reality and responding to reality, it is very difficult to free ourselves from the circuitry of maladaptive coping strategies. When parents, friends, teachers, politicians, employers, and alleged spiritual guides induce us to trust them, it is our choices which have handed that trust over to such people, and that trust has either been well-placed or poorly placed depending on the people and circumstances.
Mechanical habits are hard to break. Addictive patterns are hard to break. Maladaptive coping strategies are hard to break. Awakening consciousness is hard to do because of habits, addictions, and problematic coping strategies.
The foregoing things are hard to do because, among other things, they often are rooted in intermittent, variable reinforcement schedules. This means that at certain junctures in our lives, these habits, patterns and coping strategies may have produced acceptable results, but, more often than not, have led to difficulty or problems.
Yet, we continue to pursue them because of the 'hope' that the 'slot machine' will pay off one more time. Strangely enough, if we get rewarded every time, and, then, run into a stretch of instances where no reinforcement is forthcoming, it is easier to choose to move away from certain behaviors than if we only are rewarded intermittently and in a variable fashion with respect to such behaviors - a situation which seems to leave us hanging on to the hope that reinforcement is as close as the next round of cards being dealt by life.
Anticipation and expectation play very large roles in shaping our behavior. Hope springs eternal.
Notwithstanding the foregoing remarks, and notwithstanding Laura's comments about the way programs that are laid down early in life come back to haunt us later on, the fact of the matter is, the capacity to choose has never left us. Rather, we have abdicated this birth right and turned over - which is an on-going choice - our voting proxies on life to this or that habit, addiction, maladaptive coping strategy, or pattern of waking sleep or unconsciousness.
It is the sheer level of misery, unhappiness, and problems that are brought on by our past and present choices that help create circumstances which are very conducive to a person's desire to change and seek to reclaim the freedom to choose which has either been abdicated, turned over to someone else to exercise as a proxy, or severely truncated as we construct for ourselves smaller and smaller life spaces in which to live by the manner in which we have permitted our own choices in life to hem us in to untenable circumstances. It is the present, not the past which is the key to beginning to work toward taking control of our lives, because it is in the present that we are continuing to throw away the gift of choice.
The key to the present is not the past. Rather, the key to the past is in the present choices that we are making.
We carry the past into the present with us. It is only in the present that we can choose to return the past to where it belongs - in the archives where it no longer usurps the scope of our present choices. We release the past by freeing up the present through becoming increasingly aware that almost everything which goes on within our interior consciousness is because of choices we have made and continue to make. Whatever may have been done to us, we must understand that in an even more essential sense, we also have been doing to ourselves, and it is the latter that we can stop even as we recognize that there may be nothing that can be done about stopping what already has taken place at the hands of others.
We often have little, or no, control over what goes on outside of us. We can, however, seek to control the way we choose to interpret or respond to those events.
It is our on-going programming which is most important. How we presently choose to interpret the past, and how we currently choose to give value, meaning, significance, and power to the past is at the heart of our continuing to allow the past to have mastery over us.
We are not prisoners of our past or the programs and circuitry which may have been laid down at that time. We are prisoners of our present choices.
Our 'normal waking consciousness' is what holds us hostage because it is our normal waking consciousness that is presently choosing to continue on asleep and unconscious toward the rest of our being. Our current 'normal waking consciousness' is what fears that the dogs of dissociation will be let loose if we begin to critically explore issues of truth, identity, purpose, meaning, value, and character in such away that doubts and questions are raised about our on-going habits, addictions, maladaptive coping strategies, and waking sleep. Our 'normal waking consciousness' is consumed with anxiety concerning possibilities of alienation, de-personalization, identity diffusion, and de-realization when it begins to consider what is seeking to come into awareness from beyond the horizons of present normal waking consciousness. The problem is not what we could become, if we chose to do so, but, rather, what we have chosen to let ourselves become - the mere shell of a fully realized human being.
More damaging than the programs which others (family, friends, school, government, work, religion) seek to impose on us, is the absence of almost any support and assistance with respect to helping people to develop the critical skills that are needed to be able to resist, counter, reverse, and overcome the process of buying into various programs by investing our trust through the choices we are induced or seduced to make - irrespective of whether these programs are from outside or from within. Almost every aspect of society and many aspects of our selves have a vested interest in not pursuing such issues, and the demons which threaten us with dissociation begin to raise their terrible heads whenever such issues are seriously discussed by anyone.]
